Department of Labor Awards A1FED Website and Web Application O&M Contract

The Department of Labor (DOL) has awarded A1Fed Incorporated (A1FED) a contract to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for public-facing federal websites and web applications that deliver labor law guidance to workers and employers nationwide.

A1FED. Bridging the gap between today's technologies and tomorrow's success.

A1FED will manage DOL’s interactive “elaws” tools and websites, including advisors—decision tree applications that guide users through federal employment laws based on user input. The company will support Worker.gov, Employer.gov, and WorkCenter.gov, which collectively provide accessible, user-friendly information to workers, employers, unions, and the public.

This award expands A1FED’s portfolio of website and web application services that deliver intuitive, accessible digital experiences and translate complex policy into actionable guidance. The company uses Agile development, responsive web design, and adheres to WCAG standards to deliver high-quality user experiences. A1FED’s DHS-certified Trusted Testers validate Section 508 compliance to ensure accessibility for all users.

“A1FED is proud to support the Department of Labor in delivering clear, accessible, and reliable information to America’s workforce and employers,” said A1FED President Anu Atreya. “Our focus on user-centered design and rapid, secure updates enables agencies to communicate complex policy in ways that are easy to understand and act upon.”

A1FED is a woman-owned small business providing IT services, application development, data management and analytics, AI/ML solutions, education and training, and ServiceNow support to federal agencies.
